Chao Phraya Tourist Boat
Chao Phraya Tourist Boat, also known as Blue Flag Boat, is the most popular boat option for tourists, as this boat route connects all the main tourist attractions along the river. By boarding the Chao Phraya Tourist Boat at Asiatique Pier, you can visit the most famous tourist attractions in Bangkok, such as the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, the Flower Market, Chinatown, Khao San Road, and ICONSIAM.
The best thing about this Bangkok boat service is that it can be used for single trips as well as like the hop-on hop-off boat by purchasing a one-day pass.
The Chao Phraya Tourist Boat starts operating at 08:30, with departures scheduled every 30 minutes. However, during the daytime, the boat route was normally ending at Sathorn Pier, and only in the evening it was extended to Asiatique The Riverfront Destination.
Starting from 26 December 2025, the Blue Flag Boat service now operates on an extended route to Asiatique for the boats departing from Phra Arthit Pier from 11:30 to 19:00.
After the recent timetable update, the Chao Phraya Tourist Boat now departs from Asiatique Pier to Phra Arthit daily from 12:00 to 19:30 with a 30-minute frequency. By boarding this boat, you can get from Asiatique to ICONSIAM, Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, Khao San Road, and other popular tourist destinations along the Chao Phraya River directly.
Thai Smile Boat
Thai Smile Boat, previously known as MINE Smart Ferry, is an electric public boat service operating on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. It's a more environmentally friendly alternative to the Chao Phraya Express Boat.

Thai Smile Boat is currently operating two electric boat routes along the river.
Starting from 25 December 2025, the City Line (Green Line) makes a stop at Asiatique on the way between Siam Charoen Nakhon Pier and Phra Pinklao Bridge Pier.
The electric boats to Phra Pinklao (north of Asiatique) run from 10:10 to 18:10 and to Siam Charoen Nakhon (south of Asiatique) from 11:40 to 19:10. Boat departures are scheduled every 30 minutes, with additional boats offered on a shorter route between Siam Charoen Nakhon Pier and River City Pier later in the evening. These evening boats also make a stop at Asiatique.

Chao Phraya Express Boat
The Chao Phraya Express Boat is the main public boat service operating along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. The company operates several boat routes with a different number of stops and varied timetables, as some of them operate on weekdays and during rush hour only. The routes are recognized by the color of the flag the boat flies.
As you might find conflicting information online, be noted that the public boats of the Chao Phraya Express Boat don't stop at Asiatique!

However, you can take a public boat to the Chao Phraya River pier not far from Asiatique and then walk or take a tuk-tuk for the remaining distance.
The Orange Flag Boat and the Yellow Flag Boat (only during daytime and on weekends) of Chao Phraya Express Boat end their route at Wat Rajsingkorn Pier, which is located just before Asiatique.
Asiatique shuttle boat
In the evening, Asiatique The Riverfront Destination provides a free shuttle boat service between Asiatique and Sathorn Pier.

The Asiatique shuttle boat is offered to all the visitors free of charge and connects Asiatique Pier 2 with Sathorn Pier.
Sathorn Pier, also known as the Central Pier, is the main public transportation hub on the Chao Phraya River, as it is easily reachable by the BTS Skytrain due to the convenient location next to BTS Saphan Taksin Station.
The shuttle boat is operating from 16:00 to 23:30, with a boat normally leaving every 30 minutes.

Hotel shuttle boats to Asiatique Pier
The largest Bangkok Riverside hotels are normally offering a free shuttle boat service for their guests. Most of them have regular shuttle boats operating between the hotel and Sathorn Pier, but there are some hotels that also offer free trips to Asiatique in the evening.

Boat tickets at Asiatique Pier
Depending on the boat you are looking to take at the pier, you might need to buy a ticket.
Tickets to Bangkok dinner cruises departing from Asiatique Pier should be booked in advance. It can be easily done via the following link: Chao Phraya River dinner cruise tickets.
Before you board the dinner cruise, you need to make a check-in at the "Cruise Ticket Point" of the Asiatique The Riverfront Warehouse No. 7, which is one of the clearly marked buildings close to the Ferris wheel. To get there, look for the sign as seen below.

Once at the Asiatique The Riverfront Warehouse No. 7, you will notice the dinner cruise check-in counters lined up along one side. There are check-in counters of several different Chao Phraya dinner cruise companies, so make sure to approach the one you've purchased a ticket of.

To board the Chao Phraya Tourist Boat, you need to purchase either a single-journey ticket or a one-day pass. Day passes can be conveniently booked online without waiting in the line at the dedicated hop-on hop-off boat ticket counter, which is located next to the pier.
Thai Smile Boat tickets can normally be purchased on the boat. Otherwise, you can use the Thai Go Day Pass, covering the three electric boat routes and all Thai Smile Bus routes.
You don't need a ticket to board the Asiatique shuttle boat going to Sathorn Pier (BTS Saphan Taksin Station). Just go to Pier 2, wait in the line, and board the boat once it arrives.

To get from Asiatique to the Grand Palace directly, you need to take the Chao Phraya Tourist Boat or the City Line of Thai Smile Boat going to Tha Chang Pier (N9), which is the pier nearest to the entrance of the palace complex.
Asiatique to Chinatown
