1. ICONSIAM Pier
ICONSIAM Pier is one of the busiest Chao Phraya River piers in Bangkok. It is frequently used by tourists and locals who come to spend time at the shopping mall or board one of numerous Chao Phraya River dinner cruises starting from here.

There are several piers at the complex. The ICONSIAM shuttle boat departs to Sathorn Pier from ICONSIAM Pier 1, which is the southernmost pier (on the right end of the riverbank). There you can also board the Chao Phraya Tourist Boat and other public boats operated by Chao Phraya Express Boat, as well as check into some of the dinner cruises, so make sure to choose the correct line to queue up.
2. Sathorn Pier
Sathorn Pier, also known as the Central Pier, is the main public transportation hub on the Chao Phraya River. Located under the King Taksin the Great Bridge, it is the central pier of the Chao Phraya River public boats. At Sathorn Pier, you can transfer to the BTS Skytrain at the nearby BTS Saphan Taksin Station and then extend your trip to other Bangkok areas, like Silom, Siam, Sukhumvit, Chatuchak, and others.
The dock for boarding the ICONSIAM shuttle boat is located at the left end of the Sathorn Pier building. The way from the BTS station to the pier is well signposted.
ICONSIAM Shuttle Boat Ticket Price
Previously, the ICONSIAM shopping mall was providing a free shuttle boat service between ICONSIAM Pier and Sathorn Pier. Starting from 1 May 2023, the free shuttle boat service was canceled, and now the service is provided by a private boat company for a fee.
After the latest update in April 2026, the shuttle boat ticket price is 12 THB per person for a one-way trip.
Ticket Counters
To board the ICONSIAM shuttle boat, you need to buy a ticket beforehand.
To buy tickets at Sathorn Pier, you need to skip the ticket counters of public boat companies and walk to the left end of the pier building. There you will see an ICONSIAM ticket counter just before the entrance to the dock.
At ICONSIAM Pier, shuttle boat tickets need to be purchased at the “Boat Ticket Service” booth, which is located at the right end of the River Park, next to ICONSIAM Pier 1 (see below).
At the “Boat Ticket Service” booth, there are two ticket counters of different companies. To buy the tickets for Supatra Boat, which is the ICONSIAM shuttle boat going to Sathorn Pier, approach the ticket counter on the left. Make sure to wait in the correct line, as another ticket counter can also sell tickets to Sathorn Pier, but the price will be higher.
Travelers who already have a one-day hop-on hop-off boat pass can use the Chao Phraya Tourist Boat to travel between ICONSIAM Pier and Sathorn Pier.

The shuttle boat is operating from 09:00 to 22:50, with a boat normally leaving every 15-20 minutes.
